Review: Cavalli Liquid Lightning - Page 9

So I guess it'll be another month or so. Really looking forward to my LL. Right now I'm chugging along on a WEE.

Looking forward to reviews on this amp v BHSE

Thanks for the nice, honest review that started this all off.  'Looking forward to hearing your impressions of the BHSE when it arrives, in comparison to the LL.

I'm using my old SRM-T1 (no additional suffix) with my new 009's, and its great, but I want more!  Any idea of how the 007t/2 compares to the earlier amp?

I can't conclude much about the 007t/ii vs. older Stax amps I owned because now I just have that amp and the 009, but all I can say is that it's a very refined amp that fits like a glove to the 009, and

I think it sounds like the 009 was voiced with it because it sounds so nice. I heard the 009 with the WES and it sounded like it was pushed too hard in the upper mids (although nicely dramatic in the lows).

Tick, tock, tick, tock.... Yarrr! where be me amp?

It'll be worth the wait my friend.

Been listening to Boxer and high violet by The Nationa, emotion and commotion by jeff beck and this amp with the o2mk1 is just swweeet. The Cary cd306 does a great job as a source as well.

Any internal shots yet?

You wouldn't be getting the electrostatic itch now, would you?

Never again :D  Once you go stats you might as well delete your link to this site because all you'll ever listen to is that can and that amp.  That and if the LCD-2 Rev1 bested the Stax O2 MkI then the 009 would have to be leaps and bounds better than the LCD-3 to justify its asking price of $10K(with KGBH/WES).  And it might be but I'm not heading down that road again :p

Still want my nudie though :D

“if” indeed biggrin.gif

We all have different goals but while the O2 was clearly better than the Senn 650 which at the time was tops, it wasn't better than my Rev1 years later.

If no one posts it by the time I get mine, I'd be happy to oblige.

Why not? It's not like it will be a new experience for me.
