What's your take on the Astro A40s?

Hi Head-Fi,

I got the Astro-A40s about a year ago or so, for the purpose of gaming, and I've been impressed by their in-game performance. I'm satisfied with listening to music with them using my laptop (HP DV600 if that makes a difference), though my ear is untrained and I am of no sort an audiophile.

I was curious as to how a more experienced community would weigh up these headphones.

Don't worry on making me regret having these. Do your worst, Head-Fi.

They're OK, but are overpriced.  They perform on the level of an $80 headphone.  Soundstage is medium sized and sounds a little hollow.

^^ I agree they're not terrible, but definitely overpriced for what you get.
