Hi all, my interest in audio was awoken only recently after being bedridden for a while and realizing all my music sounded "sucky" through the earphones I had. I have begun rectifying that by recently purchasing a pair of JVC FXT-90s.
But with that comes the issue, which source? My dilemma lies between my two hard disk based players, a 30GB Ipod 5G running Rockbox and a Zune 120GB. It was mentioned that the Zune sounds great with a Zo. My choices are to either sell off my Zune and use the money to upgrade the Ipod with a 120GB drive, or purchase a Zo v2.
My reason is that SQ wise, the Zune lacks that 5% more bass I'm looking for, and the Rockbox EQ allows me to tweak things to my liking without compromising mids and highs. HOWEVER, if the Zo can do this for me, I am all for keeping my Zune.
Which path would be most recommended, based purely on SQ?
P.S. I'm trying my best to keep this from becoming another expensive hobby, seeing as how one already landed me in bed for 6 weeks :P
