TDK BA200 - Appreciation Thread - Page 94

lol sorry guys, maybe decent price was a bad word to use. Just haven't seen them for much better prices (I bought mine for around $120 as well) I imagine TDK wouldn't even offer warranty on these, as they're discontinued.

We'll hopefully see a follow up (with removable cables) for a similar price point.

Thanks for pointing it out in case people want a pair. smile.gif

I disagree: the best deal was the one described in this thread: http://www.head-fi.org/t/681890/dt-250-for-27-80. :gs1000smile:  But maybe you prefer IEMs to closed headphones!

Oh wow I use the exact same thing...

I love the BA200, though my one is currently sitting in my drawer cause it is damaged...

I hope I can repair it (mine has a major channel imbalance issue), else I would just go and buy another one since I love it so much

I loved so much mine that i managed to snatch another pair. Many times i just prefer BA200 over my UM3x and W30.

I solved an imbalance issue with my first pair by swapping the acoustic dampers. I replaced the red ones with green dampers (1500ohms) and love the result (improved treble).

Before you marry someone, first make them use a computer with slow Internet connection to see who they really are.

Is there any one both have Havi B3 and BA200 here, any comparisons?

Anyone got an affordable source of where to snag another pair?

I went to the actual store operating this Lazada e-store and bought a pair

Yes old stock, but finally I got to hear a BA200 again

Has anyone had any issues with one side dying? It seems the bass driver on the left ear of my set has gone out. The high end still sounds fine. They are 15 months old and when I contacted TDK they said that they are a discontinued model and are out of warranty so I was out of luck. I've tried different sources, with and without the extender cable and no difference.

Any troubleshooting tips? I'm willing to take them apart. Right now they are basically garbage. Pretty upset with the life of these. They haven't been abused and have spent almost their entire life on my desk.
