Bookshelf speakers for NAD C316BEE

Hi!

Need an advice (obviously)..smile_phones.gif

Where i live, shops are second to none, and i don't have time to travel for listening equipment...

I've been using Grado phones for last few years, and now it's time to fill the room.

I'm also close to buying NAD C316BEE, which is by reviews best buy, and as i understood has relatively "flat" sound, which i like.

Now, i need pair of bookshelf speakers that would go with NAD.

My main concern are vocals, midrange that is, highs next, bass last, I'm no hiphop fan.

And would like for setup to be easy for listening, no aggressive highs (i've read some tweeters have "metal" sound..), better clear than looow bass.

Just to listen music as it is. (no way dude? aren't we all.. biggrin.gif)

In following price range, 400$ would be limit, maaybe a bit more if it really makes the difference.

Room is 3x7 metres. Speakers could go 30-40 cm from the back wall max.

So - heeelp!

Thanks!

The behringer b2030p or alesis m1 mk2 passives, both are netruel speakers so no recessed midrange or over hyped bass, the highs n the alesis can be a bit aggressive so the behringers might be better.
