About 70$, need durable, good headphones. Got a reccomendation?

Imagine you have about 70$ to buy durable, good-quality, and stylish headphones (style isnt so important here, but should be kept in mind), and they should also be lightweight, now to you guys, 70 bucks is pocket change when it comes to headphones, but since I only have a part-time job and am in highschool, it's a big deal. Anyway, I had my RP-DJS400s, and I LOVE THEM, great bass and sound quality for me, stylish, but the durability is garbage. I actually think glass would hold up better. The headbands snap under 1 pound of pressure, no lie.

Anyway, I'm getting my third replacement model for the Panasonic RP-DJS400's in only 2-3 months, and I'm looking ofr new ones before I become Amazon's best friend for replacements.

Any reccomendations? I really like the sound of the RP-DJS's, so similar-sounding headphones would be great. Also, I'm getting a fiio e6 real soon (it's in the process of being shipped, I already ordered it), so headphones that work well with that portable amp is also very welcome.

Remember, I need headphones, not over-ears or earbuds. I dislike those.

I'd say the Sony MDR-V6 is a good all-arounder that fits well into your price point if you can find it.

Oh would you also reccomend these for portable use. That's sortof their main purpose. Are these headphones too immobile, or is the cable too long, or something that would hinder it's portability?

The coiled cable is rather long, I personally found it bothersome having to fill my pocket with it. Otherwise its an excellent all rounder: flat neutral sound, very durable and collapses for storage.

I went to Sony Style today to try em out (in Canda, apparently they're MDR-V600 instead of V6... Is that correct?), and the sound is a nice bit better all around than my Panasonics, which are already quite good. They're pretty comfy, they fit me pretty nicely (most headphones have to streatch all the way to fit my head, these are like 3/4), and they double as earmuffs xD I like em. though the chord IS indeed heavy and long, but I think I can live with it.

Any other suggestions?

Beware the V600 and the V6 are not the same beast.

I have the 7506 and I am very pleased with the durability, given that my adolescent son uses them very regularly and has yet to break them.

Ah I see. Yeah, listening to the V600s were pretty decent, but there seemed to be something missing. Though its weird,  Sony Style does NOT carry the V6 ANYMORE... if thats so, is this Amazon page out of date or something? :S (it's a .ca cause I'm Canadian.)

Seems off to me that Sony Style would discontinue something availible on Amazon :S

Anyway, what else can I get? All I'm getting is "MDR-V6", but theres gotta be more selection. Also, I've upped my 70$ limit to 100 if that helps.

Sorry for double post, but also, I looked at the 7506 but they're range is only 20-20,000, and I dont really like such flat ranges. The Sony Giiq's have that range, and they're okay as a backup, but... Meh. Lacking.

Oddly enough, the V600 is just about identical :) And yeah I saw those V6's. Are there any other headphones you can reccomend me?

Been thinking of the Shure SRH750 DJ as they got the style and a few people aroudn the site are saying the quality is good. And they're only 109$ on Amazon.ca. If they're durable as an ox, you got a nice hold of me :)

Hey guys, been narrowing down my choices, and I'm wanting your guy opinons.

So now I've comfortably almost doubled my budget to about 125ish. The catch? The phones have to be from amazon.CA

Anyway, I've narrowed down my choices to:

Sony MDR-V6

Shure SRH750DJ

Grado SR60i

So which one should I get for my needs? Which of those three are best? Are there any other headphones you guys would add? ;o
