Ok so I am looking to improve on my laptop based listening system currently consisting of a Laptop using iTunes for Apple Lossless files, Foobar2k for 96kHz 24 bit FLAC files and Spotify.
I am currently using a NuForce uDAC2 via USB into various headphones including Grado SR80i, Denon AH-D2000 and Sennheiser IE6
I am looking to improve on the DAC and headphone amplifier section of this setup with approximately £600 maximum to spend either a combined DAC / HP Amp or separates. Would also like something with a small footprint as it will be sat on a work desk.
Whatever I decide on must be able to be connected to the PC via USB and be able to take 24/96 HiRes files and be able to drive the headphones I have mentioned easily.
I am based in the UK but have no problem in buying from The US or Mainland Europe if not openly available here.
