Hi,

 

I just purchased a pair of HD205 II from BB for $30.  I bought these to replace a pair of HD212Pro from the same make that I got over 10 yrs ago.  I must say that I was not impressed with these.  The sound was rather flat and lacked a wide range. Will they open up over time?  I am able to exchange them w/ another pair that BB offers(since I paid with rewards points).  

 

Can someone recommend another pair?  I'd like to keep the price under $99.  Not looking for anything too crazy, just on par with what I am replacing.
