Hey guys I've been looking around on here for comparisons and reviews and just haven't quite found exactly what I'm looking for and would like to hear some more suggestions.
Basically the situation is that I own a pair of Ultrasone DJ1's and love them. Looked around on here for a while and compared lots of cans and finally settled on these as having good overall clarity and very nice bass. Now my friend is looking into a pair of cans for listening to similar music (mostly dubstep) but also does some production and wants to spend under $150.
I steered him to look into my DJ1's as well as the Audio Technica ATH-M50's and the Shure SRH550DJ's just for some options but I'm aware there are plenty more good ones out there that I know nothing about. The main things he's looking for are obviously a closed can, something with good solid bass, and as comfortable as possible since he does long production sessions.
