Speaker quandry, what should I buy/use???

Hi all,

 

I am debating what to get/use for my music/movie watching set-up. I am selling my 15year old Bose lifestyle (30 I think) as I think it is bobbins with movies and I'm not too fussed musically either. Anyway, hear is my situation. I can either

 

1. Bring my Epos M12's into the front room and buy a center speaker and AV receiver (used off an auction site, advice on best budget receiver appreciated also). I already have an MJ acoustics reference 100 to take care of the lows.

 

2. Sell the Epos' and buy a used Yam ysp-40D or similar, so I have minimum cabling but still have surround sound as appose to 3.1

 

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers Mark, that is what I'm swaying towards, I've looked at a few centers but have not settled on 1 as yet. I need advice on a used AV also which allows me to get the settings correct for my sub. Any advice welcome. I'm not lazy, I can search but I do heed the advice offered on here.
