Design looks quite good. Grills look like that of a Grado and i hope the Shures will have similar open sound like a Grado.

I'm more excited about the Shures coz this is unprecendented flagship for Shure, uncharted territory. The HD700 on the other hand is not a flagship, more of a gap filler between the HD650 & HD800.post #26 of 192212/6/11 at 5:38am- bowei006

Their weight is interesting, the 1840 is the higher model yet weighs less at only 268 gram, compared to the lower model 1440 weighing a quite heavy 343 gram
