Do you let your pets sleep on your bed? - Page 2

Birdie has clean paws.  She rarely goes outside any more and is always cleaning.  Hair is a bigger issue.

Mai Tai was pretty good, too, except she howled outside the door if I didn't let her in.  Howled as if you were cutting off a leg with a dull blade.  For hours. I gave in.  But Mom'n'Dad "borrowed" Mai Tai and made it clear that they're keeping her.  I miss the beast, but Birdie is an awfully good cat, too.  And Mai Tai is fine.  The parents adore her and she gets loads of attention.

One of my worst experiences was letting my sister's black and white kitties sleep with me.  They're sisters and generally nice.  One curled up around my head and the other crashed on my chest.  OK, I can deal with that.  But around 4AM they both launched a full assault on my feet.  Not cool.  They were ejected from the bedroom.

I used to let mine sleep on my bed. 70 lb Chow X G. Shepherd Cross name of Bear. Still would let him sleep on my bed but he's gotten too old to easily hop onto and off the mattress anymore, and for some reason, he doesn't like the memory foam mattress I have on my bed right now.

My Old English Sheepdog, Bogi, actually enjoys sleeping on the tile floor of the kitchen....even during cold nights like we're having now.  He does have his own pillows and blankets, if he choose to use them at any time.

What a beautiful dog redface.gif

We don't allow either, as one of the dogs is pretty hard to settle at night - The other one is only a year old and is able to sleep anywhere you put him - but I'm all for equal rights, so they both sleep downstairs biggrin.gif
