The Forgotten War

Thanks for linking that.  Those are some amazing photos, most of which I haven't seen before.

 

The last thing I read on the Korean War was Breakout: The Chosin Reservoir Campaign, Korea 1950, which was a pretty amazing read for those who like reading military history.

 

It's too bad that the Korean War and many of the other US engagements are forgotten, due to the luxury of the US not sharing any borders with hostile nations.  Even in Seoul, though, I rarely heard people talk about the war and their cousins to the north.

I'm just amazed that around 30 countries took part in the war on that tiny bit of land, and how it almost started WW3...
