I'm on the market again, this time, I'm looking for some headphones.
Price Range: $200 or less. Might go a bit higher if the cans are worth it.
Type/Design: Circumaural prefered. Would also get Supra. Open.
Primary location of use: My house.
Preferable SQ or Sound Signature: Neutral sounding.
Media: Jazz, electronic, hip-hop, reggae, bossa nova, indie.
Source: sansa clip+ (rockboxed)
Location: US (via Internet, I'd ship it to a P.O. Box or something).
I'm currently using a pair of Klipsch S4. I like them, but they often sound a tad muddy. The low range ends uo eating the mids up. I want the new cans to perform great all-round. Most important features would be a big soundstage and great mids (I do want a nice low end, too.)
I wouldn't use them with an amp right away, but I might get one if it's necessary. Feel free to suggest an Amp+Cans combo. It would be great if I could also use the suggested amp with my S4, so it had to be portable.
