Good Headphones for Heavy Metal/Metal Music?

Hello,

My friend is looking for over-ear headphones and would appreciate your recommendations. He mostly listens to heavy metal/metal music (His favorite band is Avenged Sevenfold). A price range of $200 or less. He will be listening to them outside and inside. He'll be listening to them via his iPhone. Isolation is very important to him (so probably closed). Even though they will be outdoor headphones he does not mind if they are very big and bulky, in fact, he would prefer them to be bigger headphones.

What would you recommend?

Thank you for your help.

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately those are not readily available in our area of southern Ontario.

What might be some others to look into for metal (either that or we change his music tastes to suit the phones that we can get).

Some models/brands that I know we can get are M50s, BD DT 770 80 and 250ohm, Shure, KRK and AKGs - would there be any here that might be suitable for metal?

Your suggestions appreciated.
