Need recommendations for computer setup. Looking at Arx A1 + DTA-100 T Amp + a sub

I'm looking to get a beefy setup for my computer, which I do everything on. I listen mostly to electronica/instrumental. I had Swan M200 and Klipsch 4.1 before i moved, and didn't really quite like either too much, something felt missing. I'm looking away from computer speakers to hopefully get what I want. The arx a1 look pretty cool, i'm hoping the DTA100 will be enough to power them? (they are sold out at $50, anyone recommend somewhere else, something else to get?) Also looking for a power sub recommendation, hopefully maybe in the $100-$150 rangeish (daytons?).

Or maybe I should just try the audioengine a2s?

Thanks guys!

Err owners of both the senior A5 and M200 state the latter is superior so why would u go to the A2?

Also do not buy speakers that look cool but sound good - could be you need to allocate more for a sub? At $150 i would go with the Dayton SUB-120 if u can find em hehe The DTA-100A with it's supplied PSU gives you about 30w/8 ohms and that is plenty especially with efficient speakers. Head down to AVS for the best SQ for the $$ suggestions for your needs L3000.gif
