sorry if this in the wrong place, but i didn't see a quick Q&A or faq.

 

i just bought the senn hd 600, and from what i can tell, the concensus is that i need an amp to properly appreciate my music, EG your weakest link.

 

this is my setup.

 

computer - hd 600

iphone 4 - hd 600

 

i really want a cheap, portable driver, that i can use with both the computer and my iphone 4. any cheap suggestions?

what i'm looking for

cheap/value

portable

durability

You may want to look for a total airhead. It has a DAC as well as amp and is powered by 4 AA batt....I don't know if it has enough juice to drive the 600 but hopefully someone that knows will chime in. I just sold one for $60 and you should be able to find one on the f/s forums for under $100...good luck

I would say a ibasso d0 or fiio e7. I think 100.00 is your starting point for a dac/amp of quality.
