crossfade lp2 for $140 on ebay?

I'm interested in getting a pair of these but they go for about $180 on amazon. This guy claims to be selling the LP2's for $140. Is this a good deal or are these fake. Could these be the original lp's?

There was a big sale on these not too long ago where the price went down to $99.  For me I would not pay $50 for them because I know the sound signature is terrible especially compared to the much better M80 / V80.  I would say they headphones in question are probably not fakes, but in the end the LP2 is not worth $100.  The sound signature is washed out, fuzzy, and the bass is at beast muddy.  If you have a chance check out a pair of M80's and do an A/B comparison.  You will wonder why you were looking at the LP2 to begin with.

I vote the M80 the best of the sub $250 headphones.  The sound signature falls a tad short of the Beyer 1350 and just a tad better than the Senn HD 25.  For $200 the M80 is a must have.

The LP2 listing were actually the LP. He had to remove them since he didn't know. As for them sounding horrible, it sounds like you heard the LP(1) not the LP2. I have both and personally  this is what i think the LP2 are fun sounding headphones compared to the precise balance of the m80. But hey everybody has different ears, its better try and if you dont like them just return them. A good place to do that is Amazon with their 30 day warranty.
