A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

The old N91 still better than voodoo galaxy S? Actually i do have one N91 but never really tried voodoo on a galaxy S to compare. N91 is the loudest still?

funny, I've got both.
They sound really good, but the samsung galaxy s wins by quite a margin ESPECIALLY when used with larger harder to drive headphones. With iem's you can get away with using the n8, but with stuff like the ed8, denon d2k, akg k550- the voodoo sound on the samsung really smashes the n8.
For me, the samsung replaces a desktop rig to a large degree- that's how good it is!
My n8 had usb otg that worked with the fiio e7/e9, that allowed it to use the fiio's dac and amp to output sound. Note that I say 'had' and 'was'- the usb otg is severly buggy and mine virtually died completely.
Oh. and the n8's mp3 software sucks. I've tried them all and they either crash regularly or are too low on features to be useful. Very unlike the sgs
