Hey people of Head-Fi, my boyfriend uses this website and I know he is interested in upgrading some gear. He currently has the AD700s, but was thinking about getting some new/better ones and maybe an amp or dac he said. You guys will know what will make him happy more than I biggrin.gif

Any suggestions??? Thanks

What kind of music does he listen to?  And budget?

He listens to everything really, alot of alternative and indie though, but he listens to classical and underground hip hop as well. So it is hard to say. Budget for headphones or amp, I am looking to spend ~$300 I don't think that will get me both right?

I think it could.  I'm not sure what headphone would be best for those genres though ^

 

Maybe someone else can chime in?
