I went to Amazon and read about the JVC HAS700 and the JVC HAS600B. I read that both of them have excellent sound, comfortable and are great for isolation while being under $50 bucks, so my question is: any members in here used either of these phones and what they think of either one or both or are in favor of one of the other, please tell me about it.. I am considering getting one of these headphones..

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

JVC HAS700 and JVC HAS600B are excellent set of headphones?
Bump..
I have a few JVC headphones, the HAS600, HAS360, and HAS160. The HAS600 is somewhat bassy and the highs on it are a bit recessed, however the highs on it are still imo better than on the Sennheiser PX100. The build quality of the HAS600 seems quite good. I was curious about the JVC HAS 360 so I bought that headphone as well. The HAS360 is very light, seems flimsy, and doesn't even have a metal band in the headband like the HAS600 and the HAS160. The HAS160 was a pleasant surprise. At under $15 it has the best balanced sound of the three, with nice highs, and decent bass that sounds natural and not exaggerated. The HAS600 and HAS360 have bass that is somewhat exaggerated. So far of the three I would recommend the HAS160 as my favorite, and the HAS600 as also being good. The HAS360 feels so cheap.
I am curious about the HAM750. The reviews I have read on the HAS700 were not so good. The HAS600 or perhaps the HAM750 seem like better alternatives. Are you looking for an extra bass headphone, or something that is more neutral and better balanced?
are you looking for a spraaural or circumaural headphone? The HAS600 is probably supraaural on most men. It might be circumaural for those with smaller ears. The HAM750 is probably circumaural for most people.

Stay away from the HAS700.. Go for the HAS600.. Better in every way imo. The HAM740 is also a good phone has a warm sound signature with a big bass punch. Try the HAS600 I think you will like it. It is a good value for the price.
