V-moda M-80's bass?

Hello all, I'm kind of wondering what the bass is like on the M-80's? I recently recommended these phones to my roommate (like today), and I know he has been looking at some beats, both for their style and the bass they pump out. Knowing the beats are a rip off I told him about the moda's, would it fit his tastes and bass needs? He listens primarily to rap, Drake, lil wayne, eminem. Comfort is also key since he's always on his ipod.

The bass is good and not overbearing. So yeah, good choice for hip hop or whatever they call it these days.

Mid bass very prominent, sub bass not so much if at all really.

 

It's a unique signature this one, I struggled to really find a parallel, not a bad headphone

overall, it has no place in my collection but I could see many people digging it smile.gif

My friend has a pair and I was able to try them and what I found was exactly what everyone else is saying the mid bass is great, but the sub bass is lacking, they are still good headphones though!
