I like the O2 (or more accurately, they don't piss me off), so I kinda told myself I'll stick with them until they die.

Am I the only one who slightly prefers the O2s over the 009s? I listened to them through a Blue Hawaii and they were absolutely amazing.

I heard the 009 out of a BHSE (I think) and at the same meet I heard two different O2 setups (a Liquid Lightning and I believe a Woo).  I had a better listening experience with the O2 rigs, though the source material and upstream components (none of which I was familiar with) may have played a part.  Top tier electrostatics are very special; makes me not want to go entry level/vintage unless at some point in the future I start jonesing really bad.

QQ:  I balked at $40 earphones just this morning.  Not sure I should even be talking about 'stats, even the affordable ones, for the foreseeable future.

First time I try purchasing a CD in a long time and the thing has a big warp that ruins almost half of the songs on it. Figures.
