A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

I discovered on Monday that while re-assembling my T20 headband after recable, I tightened a screw right onto the wires; chewed the insulation right off. No short circuits, so that's good. I sprayed some Plastidip onto the exposed conductors. About three coats. It looks like hell. And by hell I mean s•••. Just re-assembled this morning.
QQ: I've been meaning to find an application for Plastidip in my DIY endeavors. Looks like I found one.

I bombed a physics test and then bombed a calculus test because instead of studying I slept for 13 hours.

I should have learnt how to use a camera before going to Comiket.
Stupid sky throwing off my stupid metering. This was the best I could do in lightroom (which I also have no idea how to use).

QQ: Big comprehensive cable job, and after all that I realize that while the cable lengths are more than enough for sitting/standing by my rig, I no longer have the ability to walk over and grab something without taking the damn headphones off. I miss my needlessly long stock cables.

Speaking of cables...
QQ: Used the wrong solder on my first cable and bought the wrong size connector. I guess I'll have to strip the cable (2534) of its first layer of shielding so it fits the jack. Hopefully that won't make the cable so bad it actually sounds horrible.

QQ: People referring to plugs as jacks. Especially confusing when they are also referring to jacks in the same post. Plugs and jacks are termed differently so that we may distinguish them from one another. Male/female, off/on, white/black, all different enough from their counterpart that you wouldn't use one to describe the other if you knew for sure which one it was. But apparently jacks and plugs are all jacks.
My Sharp "Micro Component System" stopped outputting sound to the speakers (even tried different ones, headphone out works oddly), so I decided to (hesitantly) shell for some decent active PC monitors, the Swan M200 MKII:
I really didn't want to spend more than $100, but then I saw how terrible the build quality for most the setups in that price range were, besides my previous system lasted for I believe over eight years. Even with high buyer's remorse, a part of me still knows that it's better not to cheap out. My wallet is officially on lockdown now, with all the crap I bought over the holidays.

yes, had that experience with a guy in a electronic store, he was like "both are called jacks" I had to obliged and call them "female or male jacks"
I thought the females were called Jills.
