Best headphones for death metal with a 200-300$$ budget?

I want to buy a set of over the ear headphones within the budget of 200-300$. A few examples of what i listen to: As blood runs black, Bring me the horizon, Upon a burning body,Slipknot, Blessthefall, Suicide Season, and so on. I want these headphones to have a good bass for drums and guitar.

Wow..really heavy stuff. Do you want open back or closed headphones? isolation is important?

I prefer closed headphones and isolation is not an issue.

Grados seems to fit the bill. They don't have insane amounts of bass but they mids i.e. guitars well. Also if you can find a used Senn HD650 that'd be even better for you.

meh, grados will suit him better.

Grado's don't deliver bass well.

Your headphone suggestion: Beyer DT770 PRO or DT990 PRO.

Alt: Fischer Audio FA-003, Sennheiser HD598, Ultrasone PRO 650, AudioTechnica A900X, Denon D2000.

Edit: I just found a thread compairing the DT770 to the DT990 and I think I will get the DT990 now...

Oh yeah cuz amps gonna magically make Grado's non-existant sub-bass reappear.

On a more srs-note: Grados sound really good w/ tubes.
