So you found the clarity and soundstage is inferior? I personally think the Pro 900s have more precise imaging than the DT990s, and both headphones are both very resolving. The DT990s sound airier and a bit more natural, being open headphones, but I didn't find the soundstage to be perceptibly larger. To each his own, I guess.

x2 plus I find the Pro 900 more intimate which is what I like.

That 150 buck is worth it if all you listen to is EDM. Plus have you ever listen to them? or are you basing all your decisions on what people say?
