Good enough portable player for HD25-1 II

Hi everyone!

I got my senns for some time now, using my galaxy s+voodo as a portable player. It sounds really nice(Wolfson wm8994 dac), but the battery life is horrible. So I decided to buy a real PMP, but it's not so easy that I tought:D I've searched many sites for info about the best music player in my price range(which is max ~180$) and found some examples like:

----- IPOD 5,5gen(or just 5g), of course used it has wolfson chip so it's propably sounds good, and i can install Rockbox

-----Cowons(cowon D2 plus, cowon c2, or S9) I read about Cowon quality, it's always very good and this battery life SO LONG!

-----Sony A865W, i don't know why but i think it got good SQ, maybe because i trust in walkman brand(I got cassete player long time ago:), but i don't know it will be able to drive 70 Ohm headphones.

Maybe You got some other proposals? Know something about these players, or just got one?

I will be grateful for any info:)

Thank you in advance!

P.S. Sorry for my english, if you don't understand something please quote it:)

I'm also looking for the same thing.

I think you also have the option of buying something cheap like a Fuze and pairing it up with a amp. bigsmile_face.gif

I think all these players would drive hd 25 solo pretty well.

Currently I'm using a rockboxed clip+ and an  old walkman A728.

I'm curious about how much headroom the headphones have left.
