Information About Celebrity Headphones

Hi guys, im looking to buy a new full headphone that's stylish and not too expensive. I was thinking of getting a celebrity endorsed headphone because they are usually the best looking ones. Audio quality is important but i am not an audiophile by any means. Comfort and style are just as important to me as sound quality. Looking to spend less than $300. Any suggestions? Also, what are some good websites for headphone reviews (not Cnet)?

A man often misses the most obvious thing, the best website for headphone reviews is the one you are posting on.

The AKG Quincy Jones series (QXXX) are probably the best celeb-endorsed headphones around.  Be warned that the Q701 will sound somewhat odd without an amp though.  It currently retails for about the same as the K701/702.

The Koss Pro DJ100 Tony Bennett Signature isn't bad (it's based off one of the better budget headphones out there), but probably isn't worth the $70 markup unless you're interested in the extras: detachable cable, carrying case, and a download of Tony Bennett's Duets II album.

If you were interested in IEMs, the Monster Miles Davis Tribute/Trumpet are both supposed to be excellent, but you said you wanted full-size headphones.

And that's all I can think of.

The Fischer Audio FA-004 isn't celebrity endorsed, but it does look pretty good. If you do buy it, buy it from frogbeats; not bugden audio or g-d audiobase.

The Skullcandy Aviators are good, and the Mix Masters are excellent. The Marley Exodus is AMAZINGLY good sounding, the "Stir it Up" are better looking but sound bad.  The Ludacris SL150 is decent. The SL300 isn't quite as good as the Dre Beats Studio, which is marvelously mediocre. The Quincy Jones Q701 is a classic, but it's a little bass shy, and won't isolate from outside noise if you need that. The Q460s suck. The Tony Bennett is not bad, but a bit "papery" or "dry" sounding. Haven't heard the 50Cents yet.

But customize a pair of V-Moda with any celebrity you want and they'll slay all the above in sound (but the Mix Masters and Exodous, which are close), build quality, and rocking good looks.

I'm trying to find another website besides this one. Something that's concise and easy to read and has pics. Any ideas?
