The Swedish HiFiMAN distributer will bring EF-6 to the show!

No HE-400, though.

Back from nice dinner with the crazy Antelope guys!   smile.gif

Some notes from the show:

  • RED ASTRACHAN Impedance adapted cable for AUDEZ'E headphones (more info soon).
  • Colorfly Pocket HiFi C4 - sounds very nice, even tried it with my LCD-3! Portable player with hand carved wooden case and alps pot. Battery lasted for approx. 7 hours today. 7500 SEK. I want one but I don't need one, hm... confused_face.gif
  • Wavelit - brand new reference speaker from Sweden shown to the public for the first time! 118dB @ 20 - 20k, room correction with Dirac Live, active with 1 kW built-in amplifier (balanced input), passive cross over @ 1100 Hz, sensitivity 98 dB, 6 x 8" woofers in two separate enclosures, one ribbon tweeter horn in separate enclosure, enclosures separated by aluminium plates with damping material, weight 110 kg, color - any you want, price 146.000 SEK. I really liked these!
  • As always love the Genelecs (still want 8260). Really smart setup at the show!
  • Sennheiser Amperior - brand new headphone in HD25 style. Price 3500 SEK. Will listen to these tomorrow.
  • Sennheiser wireless headphone RS220 sounds really nice (for a wireless)!
  • Antelope Zodiac DACs are everywhere! I compared HD700 and HD800 on a Zodiac Gold, thought the HD800 had more bass and maybe a tad softer than I'm used to. Very nice. HD700 is a different animal than HD800, though.
  • Sadly no EF-6 at the show.
  • Even more sadly, no LCD-3 at the show! The swedish magazine HiFi & Musik are currently reviewing LCD-3 and there had been some misunderstanding.
  • However I will bring my LCD-3 tomorrow also, if you want to have a listen you have to find me - a big ugly fat guy with beard, glasses, pony tail, blue shirt with an exhibitor badge.  biggrin.gif I'll give KDM my mobile number.
  • I'm tired...

I will bring my ass to the show tomorrow(today really). 3500 SEK for an easier to drive HD-25 with new pads/flashier exterior and no sound improvement are rather silly if you ask me! I hope and guess prices will be lower once they hit the shelves. Are there any HE-6/HE-500 at the show by the way?

I will look for your big, ugly, fat, beardy, pony tail having, blue shirt with an exhibitor badge wearing ass to compare the LCD's. biggrin.gif

HE-6, yes, HE-500 think so, not sure what model the other HP is.

Burson amps.

Thought I red someone preferring Sennheiser Amperior to HD700. I dunno.

I preferred HD800 to HD700 though...
