As the title says, what the are pros/cons of splitting a ripped CD image into separate tracks or just keeping it as a CD image with a cue file?

It's pretty well explained there. Personally I definitely prefer to rip to separate FLAC tracks with a non-complaint cue-sheet and use the album list view 'by folder structure' in Foobar2000 that's just the way I like it. If I want to convert an FLAC/WAV/APE image+cue to separate tracks or visa verse I use Cuetools 2.12a an incredible handy and versatile tool.
