Looking for an open air headphone with some bass

Well, I'm currently using an AD-700 and I do really like the comfort and sound. My main gripe is its lack of bass. There are songs where you can hardly hear the drums. I have to admit that their primary use will be for gaming but music is also important. I don't listen to any hip hop or whatever. I like my rock music. I would like to keep my budget under $200 and they will be driven by a titanium hd.

Anyways, I'm really thinking about the DT990. I have heard that the highs can be a bit much. Maybe a bit of EQ can help. I am also considering the HD598 but I'm worried that its not that much more well rounded than the AD700. I'm not interested in waiting two months for an FA-011 to arrive from Russia so I can't see myself going with one of those. Any other recommendations would be great, thanks.

HD598 is much better than AD700, with much better bass, midrange, treble, soundstage (more natural), zero sibilance... but its not a bass heavy headphone. HD558 has more bass, but overall sound is less detailed.

If you like rock and open headphone, you can try Grado sr225.(completely different sound signature compared to ad700).

AD900 is also an excellent headphone, best in everything compared to AD700, but still not bass heavy.
