Burson HA-160D Vs Antelope Zodiac DAC as complete system

I've heard the Zodiac (basic) headphone amp stage is no slouch. With the sale, it's comparable priced to the Burson HA-160D DAC/Pre-amp/Amp combo.

Anyone have any thoughts on using the Zodiac DAC vs the Burson for a complete DAC/Amp solution??

No one has any insight? Why is there so little info about the Zodiac around here?

There's one comparison of the Zodiac+ vs the Burson standalone dac.

Wish i could help more, but i haven't tried the Zodiac yet.

Also, here is a direct comparison using the Zodiac vs the Burson as complete system. 6Moons prefers the Burson.

Seems like the DAC of the Burson is near the Zodiac, but when you add the Burson amp to the mix, it takes the cake. Assuming you want that fuller, more rich sound over the analytical.
