Hello,
I have just received a pair of headphones (MB Quart 805). However, I have noticed some strange things. On the left earcup, the nameplate has been put on upside down, and the headband was overly straight instead of curved to fit one's head, so the pressure on the top of the head when wearing this headphone is huge. I'm sure I can just ease the headband to be more natural, but the upside down nameplate concerns me. Nothing sounds wrong with the headphone, but just wondering if something might be, and also I'm wondering if I have received fakes, or refurb or a returned item when I specifically ordered new headphones. I don't think they would be fakes as the box and headphones look accurate besides the nameplate on one side being upside down. I'm concerned about exchange or returning them as MB Quart do not make headphones anymore and I'm not sure about the availability of a new replacement.
Have any of you guys experienced a headphone with a weird quirk like this?
I think the headphones sound okay, not spectacular, but decent for the price I got them for, but maybe my views are a bit dampened by my worries. I guess I also have a paranoid view that shoddy nameplate placement would equal shoddy wiring or drivers even though things sound fine.
Thank you guys.
