Beyerdynamic dt990 600ohm...Which dac/amp?

Hello everyone!

I have read a few topics here but still have questions and hope somebody will find some time and help me figure them out.

I'm using dt 990 (600 ohm) for electronic music. I'm mostly making music using headphones & looking for a perfectly suitable amp under $1000. Im using dt990 with E9 at the moment. Not complaining about E9 but it looks like it doesn't run them properly.

I have a few questions:

1) Should I get DAC with AMP or just an AMP? WHAT'S THE MAIN DIFFERENCE?

2) Can DAC/AMP run Dynaudio BM6A mkii studio monitors?

3) Is HA 160D a good option for me if I'll be using it with BM6A mkii + dt990 (600ohm)

4) Is WooAudio 2 better than HA 160D?

Thanks in advance to any of you who can help me figure this out. smily_headphones1.gif

the 2 is excellent with the 990/600.

i just got one today.

and im not sure if my 990s could sound any better

but the Burson is probably better for low impedance cans.
