HD650 Amp, help needed from experienced 650 listeners.

I have a whole list of demands haha:

-No DAC, RCA inputs

-Not portable

-Preferably no tubes

-Preferably not chinese

-Less than 350$/250€

-Used is fine, but it has to be shipped to EU

So I'm looking for a HD650 home amp to connect to my bed-rig. I listen to mostly classical, jazz, Mark Knopfler etc.

It has to be a clear improvement over my Denon's normal headphone output (I would like more clarity, speed and detail).

I hope you have good suggestions for me, if its not possible for 400$ do also let me know, so I can save up and buy something better later.

Good options (used) now seem to me

Gilmore Lite

Littledot MKVII

Rockhopper M^3

Cheers,

Victor

Hmm, Schiit Audio's Asgard pairs quite well with the HD650(from what I've read).  That could another option worth considering.

i was doing the same research less than a week back, and i am still doing it.

from what i have read, HD650 works best with a tube amp.

but since u don't want a tube amp, asgard works quite well with hd650, as stated above

I will go for the GLite, it is an excellent match.

There are a couple of gilmore lite's in the FS section. Is it a better match than a basic M^3?

The Asgard looks nice, probably a lot more expensive since I have to ship and import it to the Netherlands.

M3 have more power but not by much.  You probably will not notice the difference.
