Wireless Headphone Under $250: Please Recommend

Hi... as the title says, I'm looking for recommendations for a set of wireless headphones under $250. Preferably but not necessarily open phones.

 

I assume not many will have experience with these things, but figure it's worth asking just in case.

I think most headfiers would have a hard time recommending a wireless headphone in general. Wired sounds much better especially at that price range.

I know. But I'm asking on behalf of a person who requires a wireless, and am keen for the best quality in that price range.

 Yep, all my experience with wireless headphones ranges from the Rocky Horror Headphone Show to

 the Texas Chainsaw Audio Massacre, they're horrid.

 

 Sennheiser RS100 was a total car crash of an attempt at wireless transmission.

 

 Your only savior is open and yet to be released, good things are being said about the

 new Sennheiser RS220 - but it's out of your price range.

 

 Wireless generally speaking - is not Head-Fi worthy smile.gif

Sennheiser's top-of-the-line RS 220 will be available in January 2012. You may also want to consider our other digital wireless models - RS 180 and RS 170. These 2 models utilize Kleer's lossless digital wireless audio transmission.
