Hey guys,

 

Im wonderin which pair of headphones i should buy. Heres what im looking for:

1. good deal,

fairly portable (ie foldable for backpack or laptop case size),

over-the-ear closed set of cans,

 

good bass.. not excessive but a good amount more than normal,

good bright highs,

and decent mids.

 

anywhere from $30-300

 

Using for gym workouts, laptop, music listening (reggae, rock, alternative, electronic, rap, r&b, pop, 80s, 90s, oldies) sometimes movies, taking to and from dorm campus and gym

 

I've read the JVC ha-s600s are as good as dennon ahd1001s n creative aurvanas which i considered. so I am liking that alot.

Also noticed the AKG450's and the wireless AKG840KL's both look high end and i think some extra good bass.

Also considered the ath m50s but probably not portable enough, if they lay flat theyd be perfect. and maybe ath es7..?

Also had a set of AKG K181 DJs which i loved but maybe considering a new pair..?

Any suggestions ppl? :D

Suggestion in the low bucks domain: Audio Technica ATH-SJ55.It really rox and I often use them instead of my akg k181dj because they are lighter and do not clamp like the akg... And you'll sweat less during workout with those :D
