iBasso T5 or Fiio E7 ?

which one do you recommend?

for my  :

 

Audio Technica ESW9A  !!! 

 

(and iPod Touch 64 GB )

I have 3 portable amps, 3 LODs, and an iPod touch 4G, after much trial and error I have settled on flacplayer app and using only FLAC encoded tracks (with my ATH-ESW9).

 

I don`t use my portable amps anymore, flacplayer app does the job well, the iPod music player is the main problem imho.

Thank you for your answer. I always listen to AAC ipod volume to 9-10. I would therefore like to use a portableamplifier. Why do you say that the problem is ipod?

Well f you dont need a DAC I think it would be e11 or the t5. The e11 is a better amp than the e7 but te e7 has a dac.

Yeah, the e11 is a fantastic amp for the price. You can't go wrong with the e11 IMO.

In fact I had thought, but perhaps the dac inside the Fiio is better than iPod

You can not use the dac function with the iPod, so if iPod is your source then the e11 is better. If you will use a pc then the USB dad is handy.

Thanks for this info! I thought that using a cable like this:  http://www.fiio.com.cn/product/index.aspx?ID=23&MenuID=020303

you could use the internal DAC amplifier!

Nope. 

That just bypasses the iPod internal Amp (the cable is a LOD).
