HD25, one side ain't working so well.

Hey guys,

Anyone had any incidents where one side of your HD25s is of a softer volume? Almost to the point of being silent. I would send it off for warranty but if I am able to do some quick fixes, I'd much rather go for the latter.

Thanks.

try plugging in the cable from the working side to the bad side to see if its the cable that is having the issue.

yup, got that, just replaced them with a new pair a few weeks ago. As far as I know there arent any quick fixes but lmk if you find something

New replacement/custom cables, or did you sweat heavily in them?

Tried switch the right cable into the left cup and vice versa, seems like the left cup is the problem, not the cable. The driver is still working. No idea what's wrong :|

How long have you experienced this? You may want to get them checked at our service centre.

It just happened actually. Sennheiser has international warranty right? With me having bought the '25s off Amazon and such...

yea, should have warranty. i think its best to just send them in, fiddling around with them too much may void the warranty... hope you manage to fix it

Great now i'm scared it could happen to me. So much for durability.

Ya but there is 2 reported problems. I take it both are decently new purchases? Maybe it was a bad batch.

Also both cases had to do with the adidas pair and not the normal pair. I own the adidas originals so i am a little worried now.

2/(several thousand) isn't enough to worry about
