DAC/AMP - coloration, bit warm, semi-wide but deep soundstage

Hello everybody!

Im currently looking for DAC/AMP in one box that adds a bit of coloration to recordings, bit warm, semi-wide but deep soundstage.

Does such device exist to fit my Denon AH-D2000? Maximum cost about 800$ - but less is better :)

Counting on any advice,

michbest

Whats your budget?
You could look into the Burson HA-160DS like I'm doing, or maybe one of the Audio GD DAC/AMPs.

I'm assuming you want solid state, but depending on how much warmth you want and your musical preferences you might prefer tubes, although I'm not aware of any tube amp/dac combos.

Consider the CEntrance DACmini. It fits what you're looking for.

I thought the DACmini was just under $800. Perhaps you saw the PX version.

I don't know if it's exactly what your looking for but maybe you should try out the Lead audio LA100.  Cheap, and by what few accounts of it's sound I have found, cheerful.
