For Sale:
Wood cups for Grado drivers (B-Stock Macassar Ebony by Martin Custom Audio)

Will Ship To: Anywhere

Please note that I am selling the cups only - I included a photo of them installed onto my SR60i so that you can see what they look like installed.

These were purchased as less expensive B-stock wood cups from Martin Custom Audio a little over a month ago for my SR-60i's - I believe any Grado drivers will fit into these though 60-225 are the ones that make the most sense to mod.

They are deep cups and add noticeable bass improvement - actually they improved everything about the SR-60, it was not a fatiguing headphone anymore.  I did have other mods dome on the driver also, there's a huge thread that explains how to disassemble the stock plastic cups and 'liberate' the driver, which you will need to do to use these.  It's a bit of work but very worthwhile.

Screens shown in the photos are included, they're solidly held in place by the wood but are not glued or anything and can be removed.  I'll also include the thinner silver mesh screen that the cups came with when I bought them.

These are b-stock - one of the cups is slightly oval shaped on the side the driver slides in - this can hopefully be seen in one of the photos.  It is still not a problem to fit the driver into the cup, it fights a bit tighter, and I can confidently say that this slight irregularity does not impact sound in any way.  Once the driver is in and the foam pad is slipped the irregularity is not visible at all, the outer parts of the cup (that sticks out) looks perfect to me.

PM me with any questions.  I take payment via paypal ony.  I prefer to ship CONUS but if somebody outside the U.S. is willing to pay the extra for shipping we can certainly work something out.  Martin sells new cups starting at $150 now, so these are a serious bargain, I think.
