Largest sounding home source for my budget? Help a brotha' out

Ok, so have almost no experience with home receivers or sources of the like.  I am looking for a budget home source with an exceptionally large soundstage, something that will be comboed with the HE500 and perhaps my Livewire customs.  Looking for something around 200 bucks.  I know there aren't any sources for this range that are flac players as well so I was planning out outting my J3 into the new source.

Any ideas?

http://www.amazon.com/Onkyo-C-7030-Compact-Player-Black/dp/B004UR487A/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1322622761&sr=8-2 That's the one I want to try. I have an older Onkyo CD player and this looks pretty budget but still good and will most likely be my next purchase. XD
