samson sr850 vs my plantronics gamcon 367

so i am in the market for a decently priced headphones that will give me an overall better sound then my plantronics.  I realize that the plantronics 367 are a gamming headset, so i would asume the samson sr850 will be better. What im looking for is better bass and gernal better sound stage. i have an xonar dx sound card. I listen to all sorts of music watch movies and play games.  so basically will i notice a big upgrade in sound? and how will it sound diffrent.

cant say much as far as the comparison  but i have the 850s and they are nice.. only issue is the earpads and the highs(harsh at first) got better with time.. i prefer them pretty strongly to the m50s i heard
