Last year Ultrainferno and I did a CD gift exchange "off-the-books."  I'm in for the official Head-Fi lottery this year.  Attenuated 3db - USA - will ship to the rest of the planet.

I regret reading so many 'CONUS only' or 'USA only' entries. To my knowing I didn't see any 'Asia only', 'Europe only' or 'Australia only' entries......

And we do have a lot members outside of USA/Canada.

Don't really know how does it work... I mean, how many days do we keep the CDs sent to us, before sending them back to the owner (with the other part doing the same, of course)? I mean, If I enter, I'll probably take the CDs rip them and send then back to its owner as soon as possible (expecting to have my albums back in short time as well), maybe keeping it for like 2~3 days just to read all the little books and see the pictures in it, but that's all, after ripped (in hi-quality there's no real reason for me to keep someone else's CD). My opinion, but just want to really know how does it all really work before applying! Thank you!

It's a gift. You don't have to send it back.

Agreed.

And Amazon ships world wide, I believe.

It's very simple.

- you get paired with a random person
- you get into contact with that person and decide how you are going to exchange gifts: just a CD or something else (usually just a CD)
- if agreeing on a CD, a good thing to ask whether to exchange genre/music preferences or leave it a complete surprise
- of course, exchange address info
- send something to each other!

P.S. I have been in the Head-Fi holiday exchange for about 5 years now, and it has always been a great success. I have been paired up with the likes of Jude and our old pal krmathis before. Sign up and spread the holiday spirit!

I remember sending my exchange-mate 10cm jack-jack solid silver core interconnect last year. Besides 2CDs of course :)

I'm in.  Marximus - Washington State - US preferred, but not absolutely necessary.

Hi.  I'd like to do this again this year.  I'd prefer USA (all 50 states OK).

(My current shipping address is in Wyoming.)
