I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop and I use the normal headphone port atm.

Will the Fiio E10 through USB improve the sound quality for the XB700?

Lol, thanks? I'm also hoping it improves sound quality but I'd like to base a purchase decision on more than hope.

I compared the output on my laptop to an ipod nano and I thought the ipod nano's sound quality was far superior.

How does the DAC on the Fiio E10 compare to the ipod nano?

I think its a 5th generation ipod nano as it had a video camera on it.

The E10 really should be better (Hopefully).
