I always complained that Koss seemed to practically do nothing to promote the DJ100. It's my favorite headphone and it seemed to be only available in two stores (online) for almost a year and so very under-appreciated. I always felt it deserved to be as popular as the KSC75 and Porta Pro as a budget headphone.

 

Well, one day I went to the Koss website and saw a picture of a new headphone. It was Tony Bennett with a DJ100 look-alike on his head. I always laugh when I see that picture. Not because it's a bad headphone. I love the DJ100, but it just seems weird.

 

I do think it was a smart move, but I wish they had just released a brand new headphone. Maybe next year.

 

If you heard the DJ100, it makes sense really for vocals.
