When's the last time somebody actually posted here to explain their avatar? smile.gif

 

Anyway, mine's been the same for almost two years now because I'm too lazy to change it. It's Miss Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh, which is the only anime I've ever really watched, mainly because I fear I'd probably get sucked into it and never stop watching them. Also, l love that bored and intimidating look she's got going on, even though she's really a nice person. Kind of how it is for me in real life, really.

I don't see anything bad at all for never stop watching anime. Damn the general consensus if that's what you're worried about. Anime is art form as much as movies and TV series are. Sure, recent ones (from back in 2007) are a bit (understatement) pervy, but in all the **** that came out since then, there are some jewel borne out of people's frustration at more pervy, pandering shows. And as with most obsessions, watching anime can be controlled.

Thanks for the reply. It's not anything to do with public perception or anything like that. It's more the second thing you said, though of course you're right. With some self discipline anything can be kept under control. Even visiting Head-Fi, which I used to do a lot more a few years ago.

 

Evidently I've missed a lot, like this avatar theming business.

No problem. Usually there's one or two good shows that came out of 100s of mediocre pandering shows. It also doesn't help that Licensing can took ages.
