Does this amp include tubes in the purchase price, or are they separate? Opinions on MKII with DT880 600ohm and 595s, or possibly AKG K701?

Yes, it includes tubes.  Another thing to mention, don't rate highly the hype about tube rolling, it doesn't make as big of differences as people suggest.

What exactly is that "tube rolling"? I've heard it mentioned before.

Tube rolling is simply upgrading the tubes. That is pull out default ones and insert more expensive ones.

I use Beyers dt880 600 ohm premiums with a LD mKiv. If you can stretch your budget or delay it, it is well worth going for this model. It is desgined to power with ease the 600 ohm headphones. It also sounds stunning.

What is the longevity on the tubes? Are they expensive to replace? I bet the audio is amazing through these...
