I just received my incredible Galaxy S II a few days back, and have been enjoying it immensely. Upon fooling around with the native Samsung music app, I came across the Sound effect menu, within the settings. The effect that's most noteworthy is the Music clarity effect, which brings the entire listening experience to a MUCH more enjoyable one in my experience. Make no mistake about it, once the effect is switched on, the difference it makes is anything but subtle. Words really can't express the difference one perceives with the effect enabled. Even my meelec CC51P's sound unbelievably clear and transparent after the setting is applied. The same holds true for many other in-ears I've tested the very same setting under. In all honestly, It's hard to resort back to listening without the Music clarity effect enabled. It's really something. So to all fellow Galaxy S owners, what do you make of this mysterious effect, and what area(s) of the frequency response do you believe it manipulates, in order to deliver a MUCH more transparent sound altogether?
