CHEAP(ER) OVER-EAR HEADPHONES

So I was vacuuming today and accidentally sucked the cord of my Sony over-ear MDR-XD400's (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDRXD400-MDR-XD400-Stereo-Headphones/dp/B0007N55OG) and it was shredded up. I got them about 3 years ago so got good use out of them.

I just bought some expensive in-ears (Future Sonic Atrios) and do not want to spend a ton but want a semi-decent pair of Over-Ears like the Sony's I just destoyed. I'd rather not spend over $40. I know I can find a pair that is more expensive and get them for much cheaper from a third-party distributor. Any suggestions??

Thanks much,

Dan

JVC HARX 700, HTF-600, you could put a connector at the end you destroyed if you really want to save money and you liked your sonys

How would I do that? It got cut off about 2 inches from where it goes into the headphones. I've put a pic in.Photo1.jpg
